Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Thursday said he was “shaken beyond words” by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza and called on India to take a firm stand against the violence.
In a social media post, Stalin described the situation as unbearable, saying, “The cries of infants, the sight of starving children, the bombing of hospitals, and the UN Commission of Inquiry’s declaration of genocide are grave reminders of human suffering that no one should ever endure.”
He stressed that the world cannot look away while Gaza continues to suffer.
“When innocent lives are being crushed in this way, silence is not an option. Every conscience must rise. India must speak firmly, the world must unite, and we must act to end this horror now,” Stalin said, urging global leaders to intervene and stop the escalating violence.
