India’s forthcoming white-ball series in Bangladesh has essentially been canceled due to deteriorating diplomatic ties between the two countries.

Although the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has not yet issued an official statement regarding the cancellation or postponement of the tour, a report from Cricbuzz indicates that the board has currently halted preparations for the tour.

The report further mentions that the BCB has suspended its media rights sale for India’s anticipated visit, which was set to include technical bidding on Monday, July 7, followed by financial bidding three days later. Nevertheless, the board remains optimistic about the possibility of the Men in Blue visiting their neighboring country at a future date.
