The 15th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Championship 2025 is scheduled to commence on July 3 at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Astroturf Hockey Stadium located in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The tournament will continue until July 14 and will adopt the newly established division-based format, which was first introduced earlier this year during the Senior Men and Women’s National Championships.
This year’s tournament will include 28 teams categorized into three divisions: Division A, Division B, and Division C. This structure adds a competitive dimension with the possibility of promotion and relegation, as stated in a press release from Hockey India.
Division A, which consists of the top 12 teams in the nation, is expected to showcase fierce competition, with the defending champions Hockey Jharkhand and last year’s runner-up Hockey Madhya Pradesh vying for the national title. Meanwhile, Division B and Division C will act as competitive arenas for emerging teams aiming to ascend the ranks.
