According to officials, Sandhya initially disappeared on August 12 but was later spotted at Jabalpur railway station before returning home. However, she vanished again on August 22, this time leaving her mobile phone behind, which has made it difficult for police to track her location. Investigators say they are relying on other digital clues and eyewitness inputs to trace the two women.

Police officers involved in the probe have confirmed that they are examining all leads and questioning possible contacts. “Efforts are underway to locate both women and establish the circumstances behind their disappearance,” a senior officer stated.

The unusual case has caused widespread discussion in the region due to the sensitive nature of the relationship and the involvement of close family members. Authorities are now focused on tracing the duo and clarifying whether this was a case of consensual elopement or if other factors were at play.
