Maharashtra Launches ‘Maha Mock Test’ to Help Students Prepare for JEE and MHT-CET Exams

Maharashtra has announced the launch of its first state-wide exam simulation initiative, the ‘Maha Mock Test,’ aimed at preparing students for competitive exams like JEE and MHT-CET.

The announcement was made by the Maharashtra Class Owners’ Association (MCOA) on the occasion of Teachers’ Day, according to a PTI report.

The initiative, undertaken by Klasy Innovations in association with MCOA and hosted by CBS with Prometric as the technology partner, will provide students with a real-time simulation of national-level exams.

In addition to the mock test, the program will also offer remedial suggestions and online follow-ups to help students improve their performance ahead of the upcoming JEE exams in January and April and the MHT-CET in May.

Registrations for the Maha Mock Test will remain open until Children’s Day (November 14), allowing students ample time to prepare. “This is a historic move, bringing together over 5,000 coaching classes across Maharashtra to ensure students from major cities like Mumbai as well as smaller towns like Nandurbar get equal access to world-class exam preparation,” said MCOA President Prajesh Trotsky.

The event also marked the launch of FORCE (Forum of Registered Coaching Educators), a coalition of eight coaching organizations formed to address key policy issues such as the Coaching Class Regulation Bill and GST reforms.

Additionally, MCOA announced collaborations with the CBS Foundation to introduce teacher insurance schemes, student aptitude tests, and career guidance initiatives.

MCOA, a non-profit organization, represents coaching class owners in Maharashtra and works to promote innovation in education, protect the interests of coaching professionals, and advocate for policies that support quality education in the state.
