15-Year-Old Boy Stabbed Outside School, Walks to Police Station With Knife in Chest; 3 Minors Apprehended

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a 15-year-old boy walked into the Paharganj police station with a knife still lodged in his chest after being stabbed outside his school in central Delhi. Police confirmed on Saturday that three minors have been apprehended in connection with the attack.

The incident occurred on September 4, when the injured boy, despite being critically wounded, managed to reach the police station for help. He was immediately rushed to Kalawati Saran Hospital and later referred to RML Hospital, where doctors successfully removed the knife from his chest.

According to the preliminary investigation, one of the accused minors was allegedly beaten by some boys about 10–15 days ago and suspected that the victim had instigated the assault. Seeking revenge, the accused, along with two associates, confronted the victim near his school gate. While two restrained him, one minor stabbed him with a knife, and another threatened him with a broken beer bottle.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Nidhin Valsan stated, “One of the minors stabbed him with a knife while his associates restrained him. One of them even threatened the boy with a broken beer bottle before the stabbing.”

A case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act at Paharganj police station. Acting swiftly, police apprehended all three accused, aged 15 and 16, from the Aram Bagh area within hours. The knife and the broken beer bottle used in the crime were seized from the spot.
