Amravati: The 38th Senior National Baseball Championship 2025-26 concluded with a thrilling Men’s Final at Sant Gadge Baba University, Amravati, where Maharashtra edged past Madhya Pradesh 1-0 to claim the prestigious title.
The decisive moment came in the very first inning when Santosh delivered a crucial hit that brought in Maharashtra’s only run of the match. Despite several attempts, Madhya Pradesh failed to break through Maharashtra’s disciplined defense, leaving the score unchanged for the rest of the game.
Maharashtra’s victory was the result of a strong all-round performance from players including Santosh, Swapnil, Vinit, Rushikesh, Pratik, Jayesh, Pradip, and Kanhaiya. On the other side, Madhya Pradesh fielded a competitive squad with Ankit, Vivek, Ishaann, and Divyansh, who put up a strong fight but fell just short of turning the contest around.
This hard-fought 1-0 win highlights Maharashtra’s resilience, teamwork, and defensive strength, securing them the crown of Men’s Champions in the 2025-26 edition of the Senior National Baseball Championship.
