Suhana Khan Faces Legal Trouble Over Alleged Illegal Agricultural Land Purchase in Alibaug

Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan, is reportedly facing legal issues over the alleged purchase of agricultural land in Alibaug that was originally allotted under a strict ‘no-sale’ clause.

The land, located in Thal, Alibaug, was originally allotted to the Khote family by the government in 1968 for cultivation purposes. The allotment included conditions preventing transfer, sale, or mortgage without prior approval from the District Collector.

However, in May 2023, the heirs of the original allottee—Anjali, Rekha, and Priya Khote—allegedly sold the land to Suhana Khan for Rs 12.91 crore without obtaining the necessary approval from the District Collector.

Local advocate Vivekanand Thakur commented that the transaction violated legal conditions and that all parties involved should face action.

Reports indicate that Suhana paid Rs 77.46 lakh at the time of registering the deal. The land was registered in the name of Deja Vu Farm Private Limited, a company reportedly owned by Gauri Khan’s mother and sister-in-law, with Suhana allegedly being shown as a farmer in the documents.

On the professional front, after making her acting debut with The Archies, Suhana Khan has signed only one other film. She is set to appear in Siddharth Anand’s King, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Raghav Juyal, Arshad Warsi, and Abhay Verma.

The film was initially slated to release during Gandhi Jayanti next year but has been postponed due to Shah Rukh Khan’s injury, with no official release date announced yet.
