The makers of the upcoming Bollywood film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, have released the movie teaser, offering audiences a sneak peek into a fun-filled romantic comedy. The teaser introduces Varun Dhawan’s character, Sunny Sanskari, as a naive yet charming figure, seen dressing up as Baahubali and seeking feedback from his friend Muntu, played by Abhinav Sharma.

The teaser also reveals characters played by Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, and Rohit Saraf. Visuals hint at Rohit and Sanya’s characters being a couple in love, while Rohit Saraf portrays a wealthy man. The playful chemistry between Varun and Janhvi promises to bring plenty of laughs and lighthearted moments for the audience.

Directed by Sashank Khaitan, known for hits like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, and Dhadak, the film is produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan. Sharing the teaser on social media, Dharma Productions wrote: “Quick intro: Four people. Two heartbreakers. One wedding.”

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is slated to hit theaters on October 2, 2025. While Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor reunite for the second time after Bawaal, this also marks Varun’s third collaboration with Sashank Khaitan following the success of the Dulhania films. In addition, Varun will soon be seen in Anurag Singh’s Border 2, alongside Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty.
