The makers of the upcoming supernatural thriller Jatadhara have unveiled Shilpa Shirodkar’s first look as Shobha, revealing a fierce and intense portrayal. Shilpa described her character as “complex and intriguing” and expressed excitement about the film, saying, “I am so happy and thrilled to be a part of Jatadhara. It’s a film that will take the audience on a supernatural and mysterious ride, with stunning visuals and a storyline that will leave an impact.”

She added, “One can tell how passionate I am about storytelling. My character, Shobha, is powerful, complex, and intriguing. I have put my heart and soul into bringing this character to life, and I am excited for everyone to watch it on screens.” Shilpa also noted that portraying such a unique and powerful character felt amazing and would leave viewers shocked and surprised.

 

The first look poster suggests that Shilpa plays a tantric, dressed in a black saree and seated in front of a fire pit, with a fierce and supernatural expression. The makers shared the poster on Instagram, stating, “She isn’t just driven by greed, she defines it. Presenting @shilpashirodkar73 as Shobha.”

Jatadhara is a pan-India Telugu-Hindi supernatural fantasy thriller that also stars Sonakshi Sinha, marking her Telugu debut, alongside Sudheer Babu, Ravi Prakash, Divya Vij, and Rain Anjali in supporting roles. Presented by Zee Studios and Prerna Arora, the film is produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Shivin Narang, Aruna Agarwal, Prerna Arora, Shilpa Singhal, and Nikhil Nanda, co-produced by Akshay Kejriwal and Kussum Arora, with music by Zee Music Co.

Shilpa also praised working with producer Prerna Arora, calling it an absolute delight.
