India achieved another milestone in its defence capabilities as it successfully test-fired the Agni 5 intermediate-range ballistic missile from the Integrated Test Range in Chandipur, Odisha, on August 20. The Ministry of Defence confirmed that the missile launch met all operational and technical parameters, ensuring its effectiveness and reliability. The test was conducted under the supervision of the Strategic Forces Command, further reinforcing India’s strategic deterrence capability.
