Class 10 Student Fatally Stabbed by Junior in Ahmedabad, Protests Erupt Outside School

A shocking incident in Ahmedabad has left the city in grief and anger after a Class 10 student died from injuries inflicted by a junior student. The incident occurred outside the Seventh-Day Adventist Higher Secondary School in Khokhra, where a heated argument between two students turned violent. The victim, identified as Nayan, was attacked by a Class 8 student who stabbed him with a knife before fleeing the scene.

CCTV footage shows Nayan walking back into the school building clutching his stomach after the assault. He was rushed to a private hospital in Maninagar, where he succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, the accused attempted to escape but was spotted by a security guard, leading to his arrest under the Juvenile Justice Act.

The incident sparked massive outrage among parents and locals, resulting in protests outside the school. Demonstrators, including ABVP workers, allegedly vandalized school property and assaulted staff members.

State Education Minister Prafulbhai Panseriya expressed condolences to Nayan’s family and urged protesters to maintain peace. He assured that justice will be served and suggested a study on the increasing trend of juvenile crimes. The Minister also attributed the rise in violent behavior among minors to excessive exposure to violent games and social media content.
