Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to Visit India for Border Talks on August 18–19

Chinese Foreign Minister and Politburo member Wang Yi will visit India on August 18–19, 2025, following an invitation from National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval. During his visit, Wang Yi and NSA Doval will engage in the 24th round of Special Representatives’ talks on the India–China boundary question, an ongoing mechanism aimed at resolving border-related issues between the two nations.

In addition to the boundary talks, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with the visiting Chinese Foreign Minister to discuss various aspects of India–China relations and regional developments.
