Mumbai: Although OTT platforms have gained popularity recently, the allure of watching ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ on television remains everlasting. It is always a pleasure to see megastar Amitabh Bachchan, the host of KBC, challenging contestants on the hot seat with their general knowledge.
Currently engaged in filming episodes for the 17th season, Big B is seizing every opportunity to share his thoughts about the beloved quiz show on his blog.
In a recent entry, he conveyed his joy at receiving a favorable response for the 17th season. The ‘Agneepath’ star also humbly accepted criticism, recognizing comments from media sources regarding his altered appearance.
“.. it may be a bit premature for a blog post .. but today is a day off, so I wish to finish all outstanding work and then catch up on other tasks and necessities .. the days of the 25th year of KBC continue .. the audience reactions in the magnificent sets are uplifting .. some media friends mention that my appearance has changed and that I should consider addressing it .. I am trying to do that .. to the best of my ability for my age .. Until then, your applause and affection keep me motivated and provide the encouragement I need to continue what I have been doing for the past 23 years,” Big B wrote.
Recently, Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) celebrated its 25th anniversary. The show first premiered on July 3, 2000, and swiftly became one of India’s most beloved television programs.
On July 3, 2000, KBC’s inaugural broadcast occurred. “Goodness, 25 years have just flown by. I didn’t even notice, and 25 years have passed,” his blog post stated. KBC began as the Indian adaptation of the British show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? It also marked Amitabh Bachchan’s debut on television and revitalized his career.
On the cinematic front, Amitabh was last seen in Vettaiyan, alongside Rajinikanth, Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, and others.
