Rapper T-Hood Fatally Shot at His Residence in Georgia; Police Probe Homicide

Rapper Tevin Hood, better known by his stage name T-Hood, has passed away after being shot at his home in Snellville, Georgia. He was 33 years old.

As reported, Gwinnett County police arrived in response to reports of a dispute that escalated into gunfire. Emergency responders provided immediate assistance at the scene before taking T-Hood to a local hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities have confirmed that one individual has been detained and is being questioned regarding the shooting. The investigation is being treated as a homicide, although the motive remains unknown.

T-Hood’s mother, Yulanda, has verified that the shooting took place at his residence and has refuted claims of a party occurring at that time.

Renowned for songs like Ready 2 Go, Big Booty, and Perculator, T-Hood’s musical catalog also features Girls in the Party, Yellow Xan, 6 Shades of Z, Red Kush, No Problems (featuring Bear1boss), and Whisper.

In December 2024, the rapper shared on Instagram about his struggles with grief and mental health following the loss of two friends within a week. “I just wanna say 2025 will be AMAZING.. I LOVE YALL,” he expressed, sharing his aspirations for a new creative beginning.

Police have not yet provided additional information regarding the suspect or any potential charges.
