The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has officially confirmed that the Asia Cup 2025 will be hosted in the United Arab Emirates, with matches held across two iconic venues: Dubai International Cricket Stadium and Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The tournament is scheduled to run from September 9 to September 28, 2025.
A total of 19 T20 International matches are set to be played, featuring eight teams divided into two groups. Notably, 11 matches, including the marquee India vs Pakistan clash on September 14 and the tournament final on September 28, will be played at the Dubai stadium, while Abu Dhabi will host 8 matches, including a Super Four fixture on September 23.
India and Pakistan have been placed together in Group A alongside UAE and Oman. Their group-stage meeting is scheduled for September 14 in Dubai, with the potential for up to three encounters—in the Super Four stage and the final—if both teams advance.
ACC President Mohsin Naqvi remarked that hosting the tournament in the UAE reflects the commitment to deliver a world-class experience for players, fans, and broadcasters, describing the Asia Cup as “more than just a tournament—it’s a celebration of Asian cricket.” He added, “Dubai and Abu Dhabi are well equipped to deliver a seamless and world-class experience.”
With its rich cricketing infrastructure and neutrality, the UAE provides an ideal setting for the tournament while accommodating logistical sensitivities related to India‑Pakistan cricketing ties.
