Pawan Kalyan’s long-awaited film ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ is merely two days away from its highly anticipated release. Directed by Jyothi Krishna, the film has faced numerous delays, production setbacks, and various challenges. This period action drama, set in the 17th century, is set to hit theatres on July 24, with early premiere screenings on July 23 in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka.

There were circulating rumors suggesting that the film’s release might be postponed once more from its planned date of July 24. However, actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan held a press conference to reaffirm his support for producer AM Rathnam, who has remained committed to the film throughout its difficulties over the years.

EARLY PREMIERE SHOWS FOR PAWAN KALYAN

The governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have issued directives to increase ticket prices for the early premiere and the opening week shows. On July 19, the Andhra Pradesh government set a cap on early premiere show ticket prices at Rs 600.

From July 24 to August 2, ticket prices will rise by Rs 100 (including GST) for lower-class seats, Rs 150 (including GST) for upper-class seats, and Rs 200 (including GST) for multiplexes.

On July 21, the Telangana government enacted an order to raise ticket prices for ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’. Following the ‘Pushpa 2’ controversy, the government permitted theatres to sell tickets for the paid premiere shows at Rs 600 (including GST) on July 23.

The ticket prices for ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ from July 24 to July 27 have been increased by Rs 200 and Rs 150 (excluding GST) for multiplexes and single screens, respectively.

From July 28 to August 2, ticket prices have been raised by Rs 150 and Rs 106 (excluding GST) for multiplexes and single-screen theatres in Telangana.

This increase in ticket prices is expected to bolster ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s’ box office performance, particularly in light of the budget overruns caused by production and release delays.
