Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s 2015 hit Bajrangi Bhaijaan remains cherished by audiences, particularly due to Harshaali Malhotra’s memorable performance as the lovable Munni. Recently, there has been thrilling news suggesting that a sequel might be in development.

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, director Kabir Khan revealed that he and Salman Khan have been discussing the possibility of reuniting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. While talks are still in progress, Kabir stressed the importance of handling the project with care and honoring the original film’s legacy.

“We have certainly talked about Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. In today’s world, where franchises are thriving, we are being cautious about Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2, as we don’t want to create a sequel to the most beloved film of the last twenty years just for the sake of it,” Kabir remarked.

He elaborated, “We aim to preserve the legacy of a wonderful film like Bajrangi Bhaijaan. If and when a compelling story comes to us – whether it’s now or a year from now – we will undoubtedly pursue Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2.”

Although Kabir has not typically followed the trend of sequels in his career, he admitted that Bajrangi Bhaijaan holds a special emotional significance for him.
