Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s film Param Sundari has been generating significant excitement among audiences, but it appears that moviegoers will need to wait an additional month to see the film in theaters, as the release date has been moved from July 2025 to August 2025.

Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films has discreetly announced a change in the release strategy for the highly anticipated film, Param Sundari. Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, the film has already stirred considerable excitement with its initial reveal and is now set to premiere in cinemas in August 2025.

The alteration was revealed via a new teaser included with the theatrical prints of Maalik, which premiered on July 11. Although the teaser was identical to the one launched in May, it presented a modified schedule, replacing “This July” with “This August.” The initial teaser concluded with “In cinemas, July 25,” whereas the updated version now states: “In cinemas worldwide this August.”

Previously, a report from PeepingMoon indicated, “Dinesh Vijan didn’t want Param Sundari to be overshadowed by a busy release schedule next month.” The producer is said to believe that the romantic drama holds commercial potential. “Given that there are already several rom-coms set to release in July, the visibility and reception of Sidharth-Janhvi’s film could be compromised,” the source mentioned.

Additionally, it has been reported that Dinesh and his team are considering an August release for the romantic drama.

Param Sundari is directed by Tushar Jalota, recognized for his remarkable work in Dasvi. The forthcoming emotional drama tells a cross-cultural love story between a North Indian boy and a South Indian girl. The narrative unfolds as two contrasting worlds intersect. This new collaboration between Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor is set to deliver a contemporary love story to theaters, infused with Maddock’s distinctive style. An official announcement regarding the release date is anticipated shortly.

In the meantime, Janhvi Kapoor is preparing for the release of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, which is scheduled to hit cinemas on September 12 of this year. The film features Janhvi alongside Varun Dhawan, Rohit Saraf, Sanya Malhotra, and others.
