YRF’s highly anticipated action film War 2 has officially concluded its shooting. Ayan Mukerji, along with choreographer Bosco Martis, filmed an extravagant dance sequence featuring Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr. on the same day as the spy thriller’s shoot.

To celebrate the completion, Hrithik, NTR Jr., and Ayan Mukerji cut a cake with the cast and crew, expressing their gratitude to each crew member individually. Hrithik also extended an invitation to his co-stars NTR Jr. and his family, Kiara Advani, director Ayan Mukerji, and the YRF team for a private dinner at his home.

Reflecting on the conclusion of War 2’s filming journey, Hrithik Roshan shared his feelings on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “I’m experiencing a mix of emotions as the cameras have stopped rolling for #War2. After 149 days of relentless pursuit, action, dance, blood, sweat, and injuries… it was all WORTH IT!

Hrithik wrote a touching message as he said farewell to his widely acclaimed on-screen persona, Major Kabir Dhaliwal, from the War series. Hrithik Roshan’s War became the highest-grossing film of 2019, with his character Kabir being adored by both fans and audiences. War 2 is set to bring back Hrithik’s Kabir, showcasing a character development that appears more intimidating, darker, and bulkier than in the previous film of the series.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films, War 2 features Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr, and Kiara Advani in prominent roles. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters and IMAX screens globally on August 14, 2025.
