PM Modi Praises Trinidad & Tobago’s Prime Minister Calling Her the ‘Daughter of Bihar’

During his visit to Trinidad and Tobago on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi referred to Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar as “Bihar ki Beti” (daughter of Bihar). While addressing the Indian community, PM Modi revealed that the ancestors of the country’s prime minister hailed from Buxar in Bihar and that she has visited the area.

“Our connection goes beyond blood or surname; it is rooted in a sense of belonging. India embraces you and extends a warm welcome. PM Kamla’s ancestors originated from Buxar in Bihar, and she has also made a visit to that place. Many regard her as the daughter of Bihar,” PM Modi stated.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was greeted by Trinidad and Tobago’s Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, who was wearing traditional Indian clothing, upon his arrival at Piarco International Airport in Piarco.
