The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has placed Cindy Rodriguez-Singh, a 40-year-old woman with connections to both India and Mexico, on its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list due to her suspected involvement in the murder of her six-year-old son, Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez.
Rodriguez-Singh is thought to have left the United States in March 2023 alongside her husband, Arshdeep Singh, and their six other children, and is believed to be in hiding in India.
On Tuesday, the FBI revealed that it is increasing the reward for information leading to her arrest and conviction from $25,000 (Rs 21.4 lakh) to an impressive $250,000 (Rs 2.14 crore). The Bureau confirmed that this is among the highest rewards currently available for a fugitive.
